College of Materials Management(CMM), established in the year 1925 is a prime training Institute of the Indian Army. Since its inception, it has been dealing with numerous courses in management education for the defense personal from both India and abroad.
The Institute, spread over 1327 acres, is located in the picture postcard location of 'Sita Pahari'. The environment is peaceful and serene, and provides a perfect backdrop for learning.

Admission Procedure at CMM:
The transparent selection process of FOMS{Faculty Of Management Studies} is scientifically designed. An All India written test is conducted at 34 centers throughout the country and then candidates are short listed for group discussions (GD) and Personal Interview. Finally the students are selected on the basis of overall merit.
Courses and Fees Structure of College of Materials Management:
The college has a permanent affiliation to the University of Jabalpur . It is an autonomous institute and is registered as an independent 'Government College' under University Grants Commission(UGC).All the courses are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education(AICTE).The following courses are offered by FOMS in Management Education:
- Two year, full time, Post Graduate Degree, in Business Administration [MBA]

Fees per year- Rs. 78,500/-
Security (refundable at the end of 2 years)- Rs. 20,000/-
Hostel Admission Fee (Yearly) (Semester )- Rs. 500/-
Messing Advance- Rs.1,200/-
Rent / Allied Charges- Rs. 2,400/-
Hostel Security Deposit- Rs. 1,000/-
Total Hostel Charges- Rs. 5,100/-
- One year, full time, Post Graduate Diploma, in Materials Management (PGDMM)

Security (refundable at the end of 02 years)-5000/-

- Three year, Post Graduate, Distance Learning Program in Business Administration [MBA]

Wards of Army Personnel will be granted a concession of 40% approximately in tuition fee only. Tuition fees for two semesters (Rs. 4,400) is required to be paid at the time of admission.
Note :
Fee structure are subjected to alteration as per rules of AWES (Army Welfare Education Society)
Centers for the examination may be changed at the discretion of the management.
Admission criteria:
A Graduate degree in 10+2+3 system under any discipline of AIU[Association Of Indian University] For MBA a minimum aggregate of 50% is compulsory.
MBA (full time) course is open only to the children of defense personal. The rule is inclusive of those, adopted prior to July 1995, and wards of remarried widows. PGDMM{Post Graduate Diploma In Materials Management} and MBA programs are allowed to candidates of General Category.
Infrastructure:
Library is an all-encompassing database of more than 25,000 books on management including exclusive reference publications, and has subscribed to numerous national and international magazines.
FOMS include the mailing list of 300 select business houses.
Computer Laboratory is of international standard providing the students exposure to the practical field of information technology. The students have access to the computers all the time.
Hostel Accommodation: The residential complex comprises of separate hostels for boys and girls with a mess, furnished with modern facilities.
The campus boasts of a wide range of recreational and sports facilities.
Miscellaneous Activities:
Health and fitness is given immense importance at the College of Materials Management. Provisions are given for sports like:
- Tennis
- Squash
- Cricket
- Basketball
- Swimming
- Golf
Besides all these activities, traditional yoga and meditation is also taught here.
Placement : Optimum placement are assured each year through a committee comprising of students of each course. Their activities are ordinated by a Chairman. So far all the students graduating from the college has found placement in renowned business houses both national and MNCs.
