Mumbai University Institute of Chemical Technology (MUICT), Mumbai was established on 4th August 1934 and is located on a lush green campus covering all of 16 acres. The institute has received the FICCI (Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) award in the sphere of Science and Technology. MUICT postgraduate education is regarded as one of the best in India by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) . The Department of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State has awarded the Institute of Chemeical Technology with “A" Grade.
