Shri Vaishnav Educational and Charitable Trust, Indore has been declared as a ‘To Be Deemed University’ by the University Grants Commission (UGC) based on its consistent performance over a long period of time. SVECT is a Trust formed by the management of the Shri Vaishnav Shekshanik and Parmarthik Trust in 1995. It is dedicated to the service of the society and the nation in the field of education.
Shri Vaishnava Educational and Charitable Trust has the following schools, colleges and institutions under its fold :

The Shree Vaishnav Vidyapeeth and Shri. Vaishnav Medical College and Research Institute are two of the other institutions which are coming up under the umbrella of the Shri. Vaishnhava Educational and Charitable Trust.
The Shree Vaishnav Institute of Management (SVIM), Indore an ‘A’ category institute approved by the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh is an institute of management which is under the governance of the Shri Vaishnav Shekshanik and Parmarthik Trust. It came into being in the year 1987 and has since then acquired ISO certification. The various management courses offered by the Institute are the following :
- 2 years PGDBM in Financial Management
- 2 years PGDBM in Advertising and Public Relations Management
- 2 years PGDRM in Retail Management
Eligibility:
The eligibility to the aforesaid courses is in accordance with the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Government of Madhya Pradesh Rules and Regulations.
Admission:
Admissions to the various courses in SVIM are organized and taken by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh and ATMA Secunderabad.
Placement:
The Training and Placement Cell of the Shri. Vaishnav Institute of Management functions independently and is instrumental in arranging campus interviews for placements of students. The following companies, among many others, provide placement opportunities to deserving candidates of the Institute.

Candidates are admitted to SVITS through various entrance examinations such as PET, Pre- MCA and MPMET organized and taken by the VYAPAM, Bhopal. 10% of the seats in each of the above engineering departments are reserved for diploma holders in the above courses in engineering.
