Banasthali Vidyapith is an institution with a difference. It is a University dedicated completely to educating women from the primary stages to the doctoral level. Founded by Pt. Hiralal Shastri as Shri Shantabai Kutir to commemorate the death of his daughter Shantabai, in 1953, Banasthali Vidyapith has come a long way. It does not only stress on the academic development of an individual, rather it follows a five-fold path of educating women, (Panchmukhi Shiksha), which stresses on the following facets

Taking advantage of the status of a “Deemed University" it has completely restructured its course pattern to promote the traditional ideas along with modern developments. Recently it has been accredited by the NAAC as an “A" grade university.

School Education:
Banasthali Vidyapith has been providing school education from the pre-primary level to higher secondary level from it's initiation. The curricula has been a unique blend of routine and social welfare works.

UG Programs and their eligibility requirements:
- B.A. (Pass/Hons.) : 10+2 with Arts/Science /Home-science.
- B.Sc. (Pass/Hons. - Mathematics Group) : 60% aggregate in 10+2 with Mathematics
- B.Sc. (Pass/Hons - Life Sciences) : 55% aggregate in 10+2, with science.
- B.Sc. (Pass /Hons - Home Sc.) : 50% aggregate in 10+2 with Home Science/Science Group.
- B.Sc. (Pass /Hons - Home Sc.) : 50% aggregate in 10+2 with Home Science/Science Group.
- BCA : 60% aggregate in 10+2 with Arts/Science /Home-science
- BBA : 10+2.
- B.Tech. (CS/EC/IT) : 60% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
- B.Ed./B.Ed.(Enriched) : Female candidate with atleast 50% marks in B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. Home Science under 10+2+3 scheme from any recognized university.
- For SC/ST candidates the minimum eligibility is 40 % aggregate in 10+2 with subjects as above.
