Admission procedure:
Admissions to SVNIT Surat ( deemed university)are granted on the basis of ranks in the All India Engineering,Pharmacy,Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE) conducted by CBSE for MHRD, Government of India. The website www.aieee.nic.in. can provide information on the examination.
Admission to Post Graduate course:
The candidates must have minimum 60 percent marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average in the B.E./B. Tech. or equivalent examination
(55 percent for SC/ST category) in the specific branch of Engineering.
For the PG Pro gramme in Town and Regional Planning of the Civil Engineering Department.
the candidates with B.E./B. Tech. degree in Civil Engineering or Bachelors degree
in Architecture securing at least 60 percent of the marks are eligible for admission.
For the PG courses in Mechanical Engineering, the candidates with B.E./B. Tech
in Production/Production & Industrial Engineering are eligible for admission.
