Named after the first Prime Minister of independent India, Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Nehru Homeopathic College started its journey in the year 1967. It was started by Late Dr. Yudhvir Singh (Padmabhushan award winner). This is a co-educational medical college that provides admission to 50 students every year. Affiliated to the Delhi University, the college awards Bachelors degree in Homeopathic System of Medicine and Surgery to its students after they complete a term of 5 and ½ years of education and training that includes the compulsory internship also. Eligibility Criteria for Nehru Homeopathic College
- The candidate must be from the Science stream, according to his/her 10+2 mark sheet.
- The candidate must be of 17 years old or above as on December 31, 2007.
- Candidates who have passed the +2 examination under the academic system conducted by the CBSE / ISC / Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi with the required subjects, i.e. Physics, Biology, Chemistry. The candidate must score at least 60% marks in aggregate in these three subjects.
- Students from Patrachar Vidyalaya and Open Schools are not eligible for admission.
Nehru Homeopathic College Admissions Cut-off Marks
- The candidate must have at least 60% marks in Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
- SC / ST candidates must have at least 55% marks in the three required Science subjects in the +2 exams.
Admission Procedures at Nehru Homeopathic College
