The College was founded by Late Padamshri Shyam Lal Gupta in 1964. This evening college is affiliated to Delhi University and currently it offers courses on the subjects of Commerce and Humanities. More than a thousand students are enrolled in the college.

Eligibility for B.A Honours Courses
Hindi: Minimum45% in aggregate and 50% marks in Hindi
Political Science: Minimum of 45% in aggregate is required from any recognized board.
Economics: Minimum of 45% in aggregate and 45% in Maths and English.
Eligibility for B.Com (H) Courses:
You must have passed Mathematics and English in your +2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
Application Procedure
- You can both purchase the application form from the college office or you can download it from the college website.
- Separate Admission forms on the basis of sportsperson will be available from the 1st week of June to the 3rd week of June.
- Admission will be done as per the rules of Delhi University Undergraduate Admissions 2009.
- The list of selected candidates will be pasted on the Notice Board.
- Your selection is based on your marks and also the availability of seats.
- If you are selected you have to produce original certificates along with one set of attested photocopies during the admission.
- 22.5% of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe.

Character certificate from the head of the institute last attended, with your parents’ name.
Marks sheet of class X and XII.
Birth Certificate or 10th Class Certificate issued by the Board
