Established in 1984, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce affiliated to the University of Delhi got its name from Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the 10th Guru. It offers pass and honors courses in commerce as well as honors courses in Economics, Business Economics and Computer Science. You can also pursue courses in Business Journalism & Corporate Communication and International Marketing at this college.
Eligibility for admission to Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce:
- As per Delhi University Undergraduate Admission notification 2009, you need to have a minimum of 45% marks in total at your Class 12 exam or an equivalent one for applying for honors and pass courses in commerce or an honors course in economics.
- Your candidature for B.Com. (Pass) course will be preferred over others, if you have studied commerce and economics at your Class 12 exam. Similarly, you will be given preference for B.Com. (Hons.) program, if you have studied maths in addition at that level.
- For admission to an honors program in Computer Science, you need to study maths in your class 12 exam or an equivalent one.
- Your selection for an honors program in Computer Science is solely based on merit.
- You will have leverage over others for selection in an honors program in Economics, if you have studied economics and maths at your Class 12 exam.
Admission notification for Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce:
- Sale of forms starts from June 1 and last date for submission is on June 15, 2009-10am-1 pm. (except on Sunday)
- The first admission list and the payment of admission fees is on Thursday June 25 2009 at 10 am and June 26-June 29 upto 1 pm.
- The Second Admission List published by the college and the Admission and payment of Fees are on- 30th June 2009 at 10:00 am and 1st July, 2009 to Friday 3rd July, 2009 till 1:00 PM
- The Third Admission List by the College and the payment and admission process are on: 4th July, 2009 at 10:00 a.m,6th July, 2009 to 8th July, 2009 till 1:00 p.m.
