Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University

The Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University was previously known as the Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College and Polytechnic Institute. However, when the institute was first established, its name was Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College. The institute is now popularly known as Virginia Tech and according to the U.S. News & World Report's rankings has occupied the 30th spot among the public universities in the US.

Fee Structure Fees per Fall and Spring semester:

For undergraduate courses: $ 12,240
For graduate course: $ 10,861
For Masters in Information Technology: $1,306 (per semester)

Eligibility Criteria Candidates have to either appear for GMAT or GRE examinations and it will depend upon their choice of course. For instance, students who have opted for management degrees would need to take the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) and not the GRE (Graduate Record Examination).

Candidates who do not have English as their native language will have to submit their TOEFL (test for English proficiency) scores.
